This week at Daily Paintworks is 'The Crumpled Paper Challenge' from Kim Rempel. "Take a piece of paper, crunch it up, put it in a well-lit setting and paint! It's a great exercise to study shapes and relative values." Well, I consider my entry as 'strategically' crumbled paper and that's my story and I'm sticking to it! ;)
Love it! And the little eggs too : )
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim for the compliment and the inspiration! Good challenge!
DeleteOh, I love this!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elizabeth!
Deleteat one stage I also thought of "origami" for this theme of "crumpled paper", so I displayed my "tsuri", mouse and 1 or 2 other animals, then I decided on a bottle of wine ... fortunatly as my origami could never have been as nice as your buny. very well done!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Kathryn. It is a struggle for me to commit to painting everyday with all that is going on in my life, right now. Comments like yours helps to put me back on course. I appreciate your support!
