This is the third time that I have painted this scenario. Each time I think it improves.

  1. Red Teapot with Mug and Apple - " I am excited by color, mood and subject." Elliot O'hara would stand up and cheer for you and this work. In 1931, O'Hara founded a school and watercolor gallery at Goose Rocks Beach near Kennebunkport, Maine. He became such a successful teacher that the publishers of "Encyclopedia Britannica" commissioned him to film twenty-four color movies of watercolor instruction. His mantra was 1- strong verticle, 2- atmosphere or mood and 3- story. You have all three. Kudos.

  2. It IS beautiful, Mary! It glows, and I love all the wonderful textures. I also admire your shadow forms; they're a great part of this warm, engaging composition.
